La Liga side and five-time UEFA Europa League winners Sevilla have successfully qualified for the Europa League after defeating Czech football club Sigma Olomouc by 3-0 in the second leg of the qualifying fixture. Sevilla defeated the Czech side by 1-0 in the first leg that was played at Andruv Stadion. Sigma were daring with their effort but left open plenty of chances for the home side due to their offense-first approach and hence suffered the consequences of playing at such a high level of European football.
Jakub Plsek of Sigma had the first bite of attack just within 2 minutes of the first half, but Sevilla were lethal with their approach as Nolito slotted home the first goal in the 9th minute only to be disallowed for a previous foul.

New signing Maxime Gonalons opened his account for Sevilla in the 21st minute and Sigma’s forward Martin Nespor added to Sevilla’s tally by scoring an own goal soon after.
Sigma lost their energy and will to fight back in the second half, mainly due to the humid conditions in Seville and late substitution Yissam Ben Yedder scored the third for the hosts as the clock displayed 75th minute.
