The Indian hockey team displayed superb form to defeat South Korea 5-4 in a tense penalty shoot-out and reached the final of Asian Champions Trophy.Both the teams gave stiff competition to each other as the scores were tied 2-2 at the end of regulation time.
Indian strikers have been in sublime form throughout the tournament and played a great game to wrest the initiative from their Korean counterparts.
Talwinder Singh put India in front with a goal in the 15th minute, but Inwoo Seo equalised for South Korea in the 21st minute. When it seemed like the teams would end full time at 1-1, Jihun Yang found the all-important goal to help Korea lead India 2-1.

However, India brilliantly counter attacked to equalise at the end minutes of the match through a scintillating Ramandeep Singh goal.
Indian captain and goalkeeper PR Sreejesh had an amazing game and carried off a brilliant save to help India win the match.
Overall, India has looked flawless in the tournament and will face either Pakistan or hosts Malaysia in the final.
