New Zealand continued their winning streak against India in T20s. In the ICC T20 World cup 2016 opener, Kiwis thrashed India by 47 runs to register their first win.

 New Zealand continued their winning streak against India in T20s. In the ICC T20 World cup 2016 opener, Kiwis thrashed India by 47 runs to register their first win.

Mitchell Santner took four wickets in his four over by just giving 11 runs. Ish Sodhi also took 3 wickets in his four overs.  

Earlier, electing to bat first after winning the toss, New Zealand scored a modest 126 for seven against hosts India in the opening match of ICC T20 World cup 2016. Corey Anderson top scored with 34 runs from 42 balls.

Everyone without Pandya took wickets. Each bowler claimed one wicket a piece. 

Meanwhile, New Zealand have won the toss and elected to bat first against the home side. New Zealand have left out Southee, Boult, Nicholls and McClenaghan for the opener and India is the playing the same one which won the Asia cup finals.
