Arch-rivals India and Pakistan will take on each other in the highly anticipated ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 encounter at Emirates Old Trafford in Manchester on Sunday. Ahead of the mega clash, an unbridled passion has gripped both the players and their billions of fans, who are desperately waiting for the game. The hype around the game even took over the ‘Universe Boss’ Chris Gayle. Gayle took to Instagram to share his excitement ahead of the biggest clash of the tournament and posted a picture of him in donning his special "India-Pakistan Suit".
“Yup! I’m rocking my India Pakistan Suit, all love and respect!... I really love it and this will be one of my outfit at my birthday party September 20th,†he captioned the image.
Pakistan have lost all six of their previous World Cup clashes with India, but they did test success in the 2017 ICC Champions Trophy in England where the men in green literally trounced India by 180 runs.
However, the Indian skipper seemed not too worried about the hype created around the match and said that for his team, every match was equally important regardless of who they were playing against.
"No one game is more special for us than the other. Our responsibility is to treat every game equally, regardless of the opposition. We are a top side in the world because of the cricket that we play," Kohli said during the pre-match presser.
While most cricket experts and legends of the game from both the countries are going with India as favourite, some are of the view that given their unpredictable nature of playing, Pakistan can create history by defeating India for the first time in World Cup.
