In the 19th match of the ICC World Cup 2019, the host England to lock horns with two-times world champs West Indies at The Rose Bowl in Southampton. Currently, world’s number one ranked team England is considered as one of the hot favourites in the tournament as they also have an advantage of the home condition.
While the 1975 and 1979 world champions barely made into the World Cup 2019 through a qualification tournament and also some of the best ODI players also returned to the team.
On one hand, England has won two out of three games against South Africa and Bangladesh and lost to Pakistan. On the other hand, West Indies won one game against Pakistan, lost to Australia and one match got washed out against South Africa.
