The Pakistan speedster Junaid Khan was included in Pakistan’s provisional ICC World Cup 2019 squad ahead of Mohammad Amir and it seemed certain that the 29-year-old fast bowler will be travelling for the tournament. However, that was not the case as the selectors decided to replace Abid Ali and Junaid Khan with Asif Ali and Mohammad Amir respectively.
On this, Junaid took to Twitter to express his disappointment at the decision as he posted a picture of himself standing with tape on his mouth and the caption read, “I dont want to say anything. Truth is bitter. (Sach karwa hotha hai).â€

Interestingly, Junaid Khan was included in the squad for 2011 World Cup as well where he saw the games from sidelines after not being able to find a place in first eleven. In 2015 World Cup, Junaid was again included in the squad but at the last moment, he was ousted due to an injury.
In 2019 World Cup, he was again picked, but didn't find his name in final squad. It wouldn't be wrong to say, that he has been a bit unlucky on all three occasions.
