A shade of blue has always been India's jersey colour in ICC Cricket World Cup but this time that may be change to orange. According to media reports, team India is set to wear an orange dominated jersey for their World Cup clash against the hosts England at Edgbaston. In the lines of home and away jersey system in football, the ICC has reportedly brought the idea of differnt coloured kit.

While there has not been any official launch of the new jersey by the BCCI, leaked photos of the Indian cricket team's new jersey have surfaced on social media. Sachin Tendulkar 'superfan' Sudhir Kumar posted a picture of an orange jersey on his instagram page. Since then, it has gone viral all over the internet.

The new jersey has a combination of orange and dark blue. While the orange covered the shoulders and the back, the collar and the front of the jersey was dark blue.

According to ICC rules, all participating teams are required to provide two different coloured kits for televised ICC events. However, the host country enjoys the preference in the choice of colour and is allowed to provide only one coloured kit to be worn during all their matches.
