Chasing 166, the Capitals lost the in-form Prithvi off the very first ball. But the duo of Dhawan and Shreyas Iyer weathered the storm with a half-century partnership. After losing both of them, Pant and Ingram stitched another fifty partnership and the visitors were cruising towards victory. The equation was brought down to '23 off 21', but Pant's wicket triggered the collapse. Shami picked two, Curran scalped four including hat-trick which changed the course of this game. Delhi choked under pressure and lost 7 wickets for 8 runs in mere 17 deliveries. In the end, this has been a miraculous game of cricket as Kings XI Punjab snatched victory from Delhi Capitals' hands which even raised the bar of twelfth edition.
