The three-time champion Mumbai Indians lost their first game of the twelfth edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) against Delhi Capitals on Sunday. And to add to their sorrow, their star speedster Jasprit Bumrah suffered a shoulder injury, eventually giving the franchise and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) concerns.

However, ahead of their second games of the tournament, which will also be their first away game against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), the spearhead took to the twitter to share a few seconds video of him working regressively with the full fortitude and is very much fit to get going.

RELATED

The thirteen seconds video was captioned 'read and roaring'. The two words looked more than just the words there. Here's the video:

This means he will be all set to go. The news has not only made the fans around the world happy but also relieved BCCI as Bumrah is supposedly their go-to-bowler for the forthcoming ICC Cricket World Cup.

Meanwhile, both Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore have lost their first game of the tournament and will be looking to start fresh in the second game. Bangalore wicket is expected to offer a lot many runs, and the team winning the toss would look to have a bowl first and chasing has been easy on this track.

HIGHLIGHTS

  • Mumbai Indians will play their first away game against RCB.
  • Lasith Maling has touched Bangalore but isn't expected to feature in the first XI.
