New Delhi :
It seems nothing is going well for Rising Pune Supergiants skipper MS Dhoni. First flamboyant batsman Kevin Pietersen and now South African T20 skipper Faf du Plessis is out of the tournament due to injury. It was huge blow to the Supergiants as they have lost four matches on the trot in the ongoing Indian Premier League 2016.
The South African skipper confirmed the news on his twitter handle saying he will be out of action for next six weeks.
And so my Ipl tournament unfortunately comes to and end.Broken finger and out for 6 weeks.Thanx India and @RPSupergiants it's been fun.👌🏼— Faf Du Plessis (@faf1307) April 28, 2016
Faf has scored 206 runs and one of the highest run getters and his exit from the tournament will only hurt the team’s chances after a poor start.
Not even IPL, the right handed batsman is doubtful for the triangular series in West Indies including hosts and Australia starting from June 3.
