Gujarat Lions became the first team to confirm a place in the IPL play-offs with a six wicket win over Mumbai Indians, in Kanpur on Saturday.
MI scored 172 for eight courtesy Nitish Rana's 36-ball-70 and Lions surpassed the target in 17.5 overs with Suresh Raina and Brendon McCullum scoring 58 and 48 respectively.
Gujarat Lions captain Suresh Raina had won the toss and opted to bowl against Mumbai Indians. Lions played with unchanged XI from the side that won against KKR, Mumbai Indians brought back Hardik Pandya in place of an injured Ambati Rayudu.
