Amid severe pain Virat Kohli scripted one more victory for power Royal Challengers Bangalore to keep hopes alive to make it to playoffs. With Gayle's smashing 73 runs both the openers posted imposing 211 for 3 against bottom-placed Kings XI Punjab in a rain-truncated IPL clash in Bangalore.
Kohli made magnificant 113 runs of 50 balls to claim fourth century of the season and also became the only batsman to score more than 800 runs in a single edition. His tally stands at 865 runs from 13 matches.
On one hand Kohli kept on firing and on the other Gayle didn't spare bowlers and scored scintillating 32-ball 73 with the help of four boundaries and eight sixes.
