IPL franchise Delhi Daredevils have roped in England pacer Liam Plunkett as a replacement for the injured South African pacer Kagiso Rabada.
This will be Plunkett’s first stint in the Indian Premier League after going unsold in the auction.
Rabada was retained by DD using the Right to Match card for Rs 4.2 Crore, but he was later ruled out from the entire IPL for a lower-stress back.

Plunkett, the seasoned choice in England’s limited-overs setup, will partner the likes Trent Boult, Mohammad Shami and Chris Morris.
Having played 119 T20 matches so far in his career, the 33-year-old will bring a plethora of experience to the Delhi squad. He has picked up 110 wickets so far in his T20 career.
Delhi Daredevils will start their IPL 2018 journey against Kings XI Punjab on Sunday in Mohali.
