In the match number 41 of Indian Premier League (IPL), Dinesh Karthik's Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will lock horns with Rohit Sharma's Mumbai Indians (MI) at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Wednesday.

In their last encounter played at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, Mumbai Indians defeated Kolkata Knight Riders by 13 runs in a close contest.

However, Mumbai Indians are in the bottom four and Kolkata Knight Riders are in the top four at the Points table.

With every match being crucial for the team, defending champions Mumbai Indians are still looking to make it to the Play-offs.

Kolkata Knight Riders has skipper Dinesh karthik as the highest run-getter in the squad with 316 runs. Apart from Karthik, Chris Lynn and Robin Uthappa are also one of the highest run scorer in this season.

In the bowling department, Kolkata Knight Riders has Sunil Narine as the highest wicket-taker of the season as of now with 12 wickets. He has dismissed MI captain Rohit Sharma six times in the Indian premier League

However, Mumbai Indians has several wicket-takers in the squad including hardik Pandya, Mayank Markande, Jasprit Bumrah and Mitchell McClenaghan.
