IPL 2018, Qualifier 1, CSK vs SRH: A battle of champions!

Chennai Super Kings vs SunRisers Hyderabad

Season 11 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) has reached its semi-final stage and fans are eagerly waiting for the first Play-offs match between SunRisers Hyderabad and Chennai Super Kings to kick off at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

SunRisers Hyderabad was the first team to qualify for the Play-offs but in the last few games, Kane Williamson and Co have gone off boil with three consecutive defeats.

The main reason behind SRH’s loss in the last three games is due to its bowling side. The bowlers has conceded the total of 187, 180, 218 and 173 which becomes really hard to chase down.

While Chennai Super Kings has been the most consistent team ever in the tournament.

Both teams experimented with their XIs in the previous match, but one expects they will return to their first-choice XI for this match. Alex Hales should return to the SRH XI, while Shane Watson should be back in CSK’s XI.

Chennai Super Kings has already defeated SunRisers Hyderabad twice in this season and if they do so today, then, they will qualify for the Finals on May 27.

However, SunRisers will be looking to stop CSK today but it will not be an easy task as Chennai has been one of the most consistent team of the League so far,

CSK has been part of the Play-offs in each of the nine seasons they have competed in and went on to become the champions twice.

Match Predictions - Looking at the squads of both the teams, it is very clear that the match is going to be a high scoring match as batsmen on both sides are in good form

the winner of the match will earn ticket to the Finals while the loser of the game will get another chance to enter the finals as they will compete with the winner if Qualifier 2.
