The schedule for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2019 has been released on Tuesday revealing dates and timings for the remaining league matches. The list of matches is released on the official website of IPL where the tournament is set to begin from March 23 and the final league match will be held at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on May 5th, 2019.

The first match of IPL 2019 will be played on March 23 between defending champions Chennai Super Kings and Virat Kohli-led Royal Challengers Bangalore

After looking at the schedule of matches of IPL 2019, all the home ground matches of each franchise will end before the commencement of Lok Sabha Polls in that region.

As per the media advisory, ‘BCCI had released the schedule for the first 17 matches earlier. The BCCI is pleased to announce that not only will the entire tournament be held in India, but also each of the eight franchises will play their 7 home games at their respective venues. The Board thanks the Election Commission of India, local police authorities at each venue for their cooperation. This has ensured that the league sticks to the home and away format’’.

Indian Premier League IPL 2019
