The 2019 Indian Premier League, which is the 12th edition of the Twenty20 league, begins in grand style with MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings, the three-time and current champions taking on Virat Kohli’s Royal Challengers Bangalore at the MA Chidambaram stadium. Chennai Super Kings have won their last six encounters against Royal Challengers Bangalore. The tournament will hold the first double-header on Sunday with Kolkata Knight Riders taking on Sunrisers Hyderabad at Eden Gardens while Mumbai Indians will take on Delhi Capitals at the Wankhede stadium. The league stages will end on May 5 while the final will be played on May 12 at the MA Chidambaram stadium. Here is a lowdown of all the team compositions and the players in the eight franchises.
