The love displayed by the Indian cricket fans towards MS Dhoni is simply legendary. There are people who are willing to go to any lengths to come near Dhoni. The aura of the former Indian cricket team skipper is reflected in how fans love Chennai Super Kings and how they love to sport the famous No.7 yellow jersey in every IPL game. In the past, there have been fans who have breached the tight security at the stadium to run towards Dhoni and touch his feet. In the game against Delhi Capitals at the Feroz Shah Kotla, a similar incident was witnessed.
Chennai Super Kings needed 22 runs off three overs and the tension was mounting. However, Dhoni, in his typical calmness, he creamed a cover drive off Keemo Paul and sealed the game in grand style by hammering Amit Mishra straight down the ground for a big six. When Dwayne Bravo pulled a short ball from Kagiso Rabada to the fine leg fence, Chennai Super Kings had sealed a win by six wickets. Immediately after the win, two fans breached the security and ran towards Dhoni to touch his feet. One fan ran from the Mohinder Amarnath stand and managed to get close to Dhoni. The fan managed to touch his feet and he was immediately escorted away by security.
