Mumbai Indians chose to bowl against Mumbai Indians and the likes of Shubman Gill, Chris Lynn and Andre Russell have taken the attack to Rohit Sharma's side. Shubman Gill blasted his third fifty and looked good for a century but he fell for 76. Chris Lynn smashed his 10th fifty but Andre Russell, promoted to No.3 in the batting, boosted Kolkata Knight Riders to a commanding total of 232/2. In response, Mumbai Indians started badly but Hardik Pandya blasted 91 off 34 balls.
