23:45 hrs IST: Dwayne Bravo latches onto a slow and full ball from Malinga and deposits it to the third tier of the stands at deep midwicket but the bowler has his revenge. Full ball slanted in and Bravo goes for the slog, the inside edge flies to the left of Quinton de Kock who takes a stunning catch with both hands.

23:25 hrs IST: Hardik Pandya, you beauty! Gets the ball to climb up from a back of a length and Jadeja can only edge it to the keeper. Pandya's two wickets in the over have potentially sealed it for Mumbai Indians.

23:23 hrs IST: For people inquiring as to why Jasprit Bumrah has a black eye, Mahela Jayawardene, part of the Mumbai Indians coaching line-up said the bowler missed a catch during warm-ups and he was hit under the eye, thus the black mark.

23:21 hrs IST: That is a massive blow for Chennai Super Kings' hopes. Dhoni charges down the track but Hardik Pandya cramps him up with a short ball aimed towards the body, Dhoni limply pulls it to square leg where Suryakumar Yadav takes the catch.

23:18 hrs IST: The partnership has gone past fifty and Jadhav is also nearing a fifty, but Dhoni is striking at just 60. What is going through the mind of the Chennai Super Kings captain? With each over, the asking rate is mounting.

22:55 hrs IST: Jadhav continues to find the boundary as he edges a flatter delivery from legspinner Rahul Chahar while Behrendorff is troubling Dhoni with the extra bounce and angle. Chennai Super Kings are ahead of Mumbai Indians at this point in time but the asking rate is over 9.5

21:35 hrs IST: Another full, slow ball from Dwayne Bravo and Suryakumar mistimes the lofted shot to long on where Jadeja takes the catch. Bravo breaks into a neat jig, a mixture of

21:31 hrs IST: Suryakumar slog sweeps a six over deep square leg and it is his sixth in the IPL. Splendid knock from the right-hander. They need three good overs now.

21:26 hrs IST: Whether it is the outside edge or the mistimed lofted shot, there is no way Krunal is getting out today. Gets another boundary and he is nearing a fifty. As we speak, Krunal miscues a slower ball to wide long off and Jadeja takes the catch. Much needed relief for Mumbai Indians.

21:23 hrs IST: The partnership between Krunal and Suryakumar has gone past fifty. Can they go to 150? Only four overs are left.

21:17 hrs IST: Tahir drags one delivery short and Krunal heaves it into the stands at wide long on. The elder Pandya is batting like a gem.

21:09 hrs IST: It looks like today is Krunal Pandya's day. He gets going with two boundaries and then gets a life when he is dropped by Mohit Sharma off Dwayne Bravo. In the next over, he is trapped LBW by Shardul Thakur but he overturns it as he gets an inside edge. Superb stuff from Krunal.

20:52 hrs IST: Krunal Pandya gets off the mark with a boundary off Jadeja while Tahir gets swept for a boundary by Suryakumar. Chennai Super Kings are choking the flow of runs.

20:43 hrs IST: Brilliant from Imran Tahir. Yuvraj Singh mistimes the lofted shot and Ambati Rayudu takes the catch at long off close to the boundary. The umpires have a check and Rayudu is fine. Mumbai Indians are in a bad position and they need a special knock from Suryakumar.

20:36 hrs IST: Great start for Ravindra Jadeja. He gets this flatter delivery to skid through and it spins away and the thin edge is taken by Dhoni. The umpires check closely for a no-ball and after checking multiple angles, he is deemed safe.

20:13 hrs IST: WICKET! The pressure has told on Quinton de Kock and he tries to pull a short ball, but the short ball zips through and the left-hander miscues it to Kedar Jadhav at mid wicket.

20:09 hrs IST: Shardul Thakur is getting some outswing and bounce. Rohit Sharma is struggling to cope with it and only one run comes in the over. Mumbai Indians are 3/0 after two overs.

20:04 hrs IST: Good start for Deepak Chahar. He gets some swing and extra bounce as only two runs are scored. Good line and lengths maintained by Chahar and de Kock struggles to get away.

19:59 hrs IST: Rohit Sharma and Quinton de Kock are out in the middle. After the huddle, the Chennai Super Kings are all set to resume as they look to make it four out of four. Deepak Chahar will open the bowling.
