RESULT: Mumbai beat Hyderabad in Super Over

So Kieron Pollard and Hardik Pandya will start the innings for Mumbai Indians.

So Hyderabad loses two wickets in space of 4 balls. Mumbai Indians need 9 runs to win

Martin Guptil replaces Manish Pandey!

WICKET: Manish Pandey gets RUN OUT! This is game changing moment.

Jasprit Bumrah will bowl the over.

As per the rules of the game, Mumbai Indians will bowl first!

We are having a super over here.

WICKET: Wicket lost just at the wrong time. Hardik Pandya bowls a slower one and Nabi couldn't time it. Straight into the hands of long off fielder. 9 needed off 2 balls.

SIX! 9 needed off 3 balls now!

What an over this has been from Jasprit Bumrah. He came to bowl the penultimate over and gave just 12 runs. After 19 overs, it's 146/5.

Runs are hard to come by. Both Lasith Malinga and Jasprit Bumrah are able to bowl in right areas and didn't let the opposition to dominate.

50-up for Manish Pandey! Third half-century in four innings for him. The equation has come down to 48 off 24 balls now.

WICKET: Is there another twist in the game? Abhishek Sharma gets a slight nip and through to the keeper. Half-side back to the pavilion.

100 up for Sunrisers Hyderabad in 13.4 overs.

WICKET: Krunal Pandya keeps Mumbai in hut. Vijay Shankar departs after yet another start.

The first leg is evenly matched with Sunrisers Hyderabad managing to score 80 runs. This remains to be seen if Manish Pandey can bat through and take his team over the line.

WICKET: Huge wicket and the blue flags are hoisted up at the Wankhede. Rohit is jubliant and so are rest of his mates. They know the value of this wicket

The powerplay is slightly tilted in favour of Mumbai Indians here. They have been able to send the openers back to the pavilion and eventually kept themselves in game. After 6 overs, it's 59/2.

Mumbai Indians 162/5 in 20 overs vs Sunrisers Hyderabad (Quinton de Kock 69, Khaleel Ahmed 3/42)

WICKET: Khaleel bowl a slower short of a length delivery and Pollard just couldn't time it to perfection. Abhishek Sharma picks a stunner. Half-side back to the pavilion.

The penultimate over went in favour of Sunrisers Hyderabad and it wouldn't be wrong to say that it has even shaped the game. Just for off the over. After 19 overs, it's 151/4.

150 up for Mumbai Indians!

Finally, 50 up for Quinton de Kock. His fourth of the season. After 16.3 overs, it's 127/4.

WICKET: Hardik Pandya has been worked out. This is a crucial wicket for SRH as we all know how dangerous Hardik can be at the back-end of the innings. It was banged in short, the batsman wasn't expecting it. Gets cramped for pace and room, went for the pull and poor connection sees him slicing it off the top half of the bat to long-off. Nabi takes the sitter.

Oh dear. Quinton de Kock is certainly struggling to time the ball. He has consumed 41 balls to get 45 runs, and just not ticking. His scoring rate has put undue pressure on the non-striker. After 15 overs, it's 113/3.

100 up for Mumbai Indians in 13.3 overs.

That West Indies touch.. SIX on the second ball for Hardik Pandya! His prime form continues!

Just two runs of Nabi's last over, and what a spell this has been. He gave 24 runs in his quota of four overs and picked a crucial wicket of Evin Lewis. After 13 overs, it's 93/3.

WICKET: Lewis' patchy form continues, he was looking clueless and ends up gifting his wicket to Nabi here. Shankar picks a sitter.

WICKET: Khaleel picks his second. Rashid Khan will not drop the sitters. Suryakumar Yadav departs after well-made 23.

50-run partnership between Quinton de Kock and Suryakumar Yadav.

The first leg of the innings belongs to Sunrisers Hyderabad. They have been able to send Rohit Sharma back to the pavilion and have been able to restrict the oppositiion to free their arm. After 10 overs, it's 76/1.

Suryakumar Yadav is looking solid out there. He has come with a set plan and has been able to excute it properly. Quinton de Kock, on the other, hasn't been able to time the ball. After 9 overs, it's 69/1.

50 up for Mumbai Indians. Suryakumar Yadav is looking solid at the wicket. This remains to be seen if we can continue for his side. After 7 overs, it's 53/1.

WICKET: First one down. Rohit would be gutted with himself. He was timing the ball beautifully but the pressure of five dot balls that de Kock consumed took his wicket away. Khaleel provides all-important breakthrough.

Mumbai is off to a decent start here. Rohit Sharma has been the aggressor in the Mumbai Indians innings and have been able to utilize his experience to dominate the Sunrisers Hyderabad bowlers. After 3 overs, 26/0.

Players are out in the middle. Rohit Sharma and Quinton de Kock are there in the middle too. And so are the umpires. It's game time!

Here's the playing XI for two sides:

Sunrisers Hyderabad: Wriddhiman Saha(w), Martin Guptill, Manish Pandey, Kane Williamson(c), Mohammad Nabi, Vijay Shankar, Rashid Khan, Abhishek Sharma, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, K Khaleel Ahmed, Basil Thampi

Mumbai Indians: Quinton de Kock(w), Rohit Sharma(c), Evin Lewis, Suryakumar Yadav, Kieron Pollard, Hardik Pandya, Krunal Pandya, Barinder Sran, Rahul Chahar, Jasprit Bumrah, Lasith Malinga

The toss is scheduled to take place in less than 45 minutes from now, and team winning the toss will look to have a bowl first as chasing is comparatively easier on Mumbai wicket. However, this remains to be seen if toss-winning captain goes with the same mindset.

Sunrisers Hyderabad, their opponents tonight, meanwhile have a different story and bigger concerns coming into the contest.

Mumbai Indians are a step away from qualifying for the playoffs and they’ve not been as bothered by the IPL playoff scenario as the rest of middle order teams.
