Rising Pune Supergiants: One of the new teams inducted to the Indian Premier League 2016. The team is owned by Kolkata based businessman Sanjiv Goenka. The team will be under Indian skipper MS Dhoni and coached by Stephen Fleming. The duo has done wonders for the Chennai Super Kings in previous editions. The team has players like Ajinkya Rahane, Faf du Plessis, Kevin Pietersen, Steve Smith, R Ashwin many others.
Many of the Chennai Super Kings players are in the team and have potential to win the trophy. The batting department will be taken care by Ajinkya Rahane, Faf du Plessis, Kevin Pietersen, Steve Smith. Ishant Sharma will be spearhead of their pace attack and R Ashwin will lead them in spin department.
MS Dhoni and his boys will face challenges from other teams to perform. Chennai Super Kings was one of the most consistent teams in the tournament who have qualified for the playoffs.
