Defending champion India shall be taking on England in their final group fixture of the 2016 World Cup Kabaddi later on Tuesday at the TransStadia, Ahmedabad.

The Indians have been on a roll after being upset by South Korea in their opening game. The team has been on a winning spree after registering impressive wins over Australia, Bangladesh and Argentina. The Indians thrashed the Aussies (54-20), followed it by crushing Asian rivals Bangladesh (57-20) and inflicted a heavy defeat to minnows Argentina (74-20).

As the tournament has progressed, the Indians are looking like hot favourites to win the coveted title. The raiders are looking in tremendous point scoring form and the tacklers are holding their ground to thwart most of the oppostion raids. Captain Anup Kumar has once again led from the front with ace raiders Rahul Chaudhari and Ajay Thakur securing maximum points between them.

The hosts virtually assured of a semifinal berth, shall look to finish off their league encounter in style.

The Indians in all probability are slated to play West Asian powerhouse Iran in the semis. Iran were given quite the jolt on Monday after being handed a defeat by Poland in their group B encounter.
