The 8th edition of the IKF Kabaddi World Cup being hosted by India shall be played from October 7 to October 22. The top twelve teams of the world shall be battling out against each other in a bid to lift the coveted word title.
The teams have been divided into two groups of six teams each. The teams shall play round-robin encounters against each other in their respective groups and the top two teams from each group shall qualify for the semifinals.
Defending champion and India shall open their group campaign against East Asian giants South Korea on the 7th of October. Meanwhile USA shall take on West Asian powerhouse Iran in the opening game of Group B.
