German driver Sebastian Vettel’s hope of winning Formula One world title got a serious dent after a crash at the Singapore Grand Prix.
Vettel was aiming get past Lewis Hamilton in world standings with victory under lights in Singapore Grand Prix but the crash had left him empty handed.
Vettel started the race on pole. Soon, after the begun, Vettel’s teammate Kimi Raikkonen got past second-on-the-grid Max Verstappen. Verstappen was edged out by the Ferraris. In order to do so, the vehicle suffered damage to the nose.
All the three vehicles spun on the track and Lewis Hamilton was the gainer. Lewis Hamilton, who started the race on fifth position, got past everyone to lead from the front.
As a result, Sebastian Vettel got out of Singapore Grand Prix following dramatic first corner crash.
