Sania Mirza-Rahul Bopanna on Saturday faced defeat against Venus Williams-Rajeev Ram in the Mixed-Doubles Tennis game at Rio Olympics 2016. The Indian pair came up strong in the first set but then the american pair took the ball in their court and ended game with results in their favour.
India will now play for Bronze medal.

2:30am: Venus Williams/Rajeev Ram beat Sania Mirza/Rohan Bopanna 10-3 in super tie breaker.
2:26am- The American pair has extended their lead to 6-3
2:24am - But Venus/Ram show their class to take 4-3 lead
2:20am - The tie-break and India lead 2-0
2:15am - Williams/Ram clinch second set 6-2. Final set to decide on India's medal hopes.
2:10am - Venus Williams shows why she is a multiple-time Grand Slam winner. Rohan-Bopanna struggle in the second set, trail 5-2.
2:05am - Venus/Ram, now hold serve to be 5-2 up in second set.
1:55am - Venus and Rajeev Ram looks more stable in the second set set as they hold serve to be 2-1 up.
1:45am - India just a set away from Olympics medal. Second set begins.
1:40am - The Indian pair breaks the US combine again after a brilliant return from Bopanna.
1:13am - Players are in the court.
11:45pm - Sania Mirza and Rohan Bopanna aims medal for India. So far only Leander Paes has managed to win an Olympics medal in tennis.
11:30pm - Game delayed by at least an hour due to other women's double bronze medal match being played on Court 1.
