Rio Olympics 2016: Untouchable and Flawless Bolt bows out

The fastest man on earth, made his final Olympic bow here in Rio on Friday with the pleasure of remembering all that has come before tinged with regret that there will be no more.

Three Olympics, three gold medals in each. A world record over 100m, a world record over 200m, a world record in the sprint relay. Through injury, under pressure, from China to London and on to Brazil, as a wide-eyed 21-year-old sensation and a man in maturity whose hair is beginning to thin and hamstrings are starting to pop.

The Jamaican changed the game and changed the way we the audience watch it with his magnetic personality. Every-time he set a record to break it in another outing.

In this era of flawed events, this flawless sprinter made people see the best of the best with his trademark sign signalling victory and spreading smiles.

Usain Bolt ended his Olympic career by claiming an unprecedented ‘triple triple’ and his ninth gold as Jamaica won the 4x100m relay final in Rio.

Bolt, 29, had won the 100m and 200m in Rio and is the only man to win all three sprint events at three Games. He combined with Asafa Powell, Yohan Blake and Nickel Ashmeade to lift gold in a time of 37.27 seconds.

Bolt signed off with a statement which represents his amazing personality. “There you go, I’m the greatest,” said Bolt.

Some call him Immortal, some Incredible but the fact remains as an audience, it was an honour to witness the great Jamaican sprinting and breaking records.

A strange fact states that if Bolt kept running at his fastest speed from Earth all the way through space to the moon, he would get there in 9,713 hours.
He bows out all smiling as the fastest man to sprint in the history of Olympics and mankind.
