New Delhi:

Cristiano Ronaldo and Nani scored one goal each to ensure 2-0 win for Pourtugal against Wales on Wednesday to secure birth in the final game.

Ronaldo, who had been facing a lot of criticism for his lacklustre tournament, scored a goal in 50th minute of the tournament to put his side in front.

Three minutes later he then inadvertently set up the second goal, Nani taking the full advantage took his team to 2-0.

Portugal will now face either Germany or France who will play their semi-final on Thursday.

"We've been dreaming about this from the start," Ronaldo told reporters. "We knew it would be a long way but we've fought all the way."

Wales played well in the first half but in the latter they failed drastically to recover 2-0 deficit.

After 2004, this is the first time Portugal has reached into Euro Finals.
