Lahiri paired with Walker, Kjeldsen for first two rounds

India’s Anirban Lahiri will go up alongside Jimmy Walker and Soren Kjeldsen in the first two rounds of the 80th Augusta Masters.

Lahiri, ranked 51st in world at the start of the week will be playing his second Masters and his seventh Major in succession.

Walker, who has five PGA Tour titles and top-10 finishes in three of the four Majors the Open is the only exception - is currently ranked 24th, while Kjeldsen, ranked 44th, had a good 2015, including a win at Dubai Duty Free Irish Open and his only top-10 at a Major came in the 2009 PGA Championships.

Lahiri, Walker and Kjeldsen will tee off at 1.27 pm on Thursday and then 10:32 am on Friday.

Jordan Spieth opens his defense of the Masters at 9:48 a.m. on Thursday at Augusta National Golf Club, and he will play his first two rounds with Paul Casey and amateur Bryson DeChambeau. Their second round will begin at 12:55 p.m. on Friday.

Among the other prominent pairings, Zach Johnson, Open winner in 2015, will go out with Rickie Fowler and amateur Cheng Jin at 9:26 a.m. on Thursday, while Adam Scott, the 2013 Masters winner, Kevin Kisner and Brooks Koepka tee off at 11:05 a.m.

Two-time winner in 2012 and 2014, Bubba Watson, Branden Grace and Ian Poulter are set for a 12:44 p.m. start, while 2015 PGA winner Jason Day, Matt Kucher and Ernie Else tee off at 1:06 p.m. The final group of the first round is Martin Kaymer, Bill Haas and Rory McIlroy, who is searching for his Masters to complete career Slam.
