After winning two gold medals in Women’s 10m Pistol and the 10m Pistol Mixed Team event at International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) World Cup, Indian sensation pistol shooter Manu Bhaker ended her run in Mexico’s Guadalajara.
The 16-year old young Haryana starlet finished at fifth place in the Women’s 25m Pistol which was held on Saturday. India remained on the top of the medal standings and finished with four gold, one silver and four bronze medals after Akhil Sheoran won gold in Men’s 50m Rifle on Sunday.

Manu had qualified for the 25m Women’s Pistol final with 581 points, earning the fifth spot. Top eight women from the qualifiers get into the finals.
The Indian youngster had to settle for a fifth spot finish after her 19 hits at the end of the seventh series of five shots were three behind the leaders. The last of the medals will be decided in the Men’s skeet and possibly another chance for India to shoot up a medal, with Smit Singh placed seventh with 48 out of 50 after first two rounds of qualification. Three more rounds of qualification will take place on Sunday before the top six qualify for the finals.
