The debutants in the Pro Kabaddi Season 5, Gujarat Fortunegiants and Haryana Steelers will face off each other in the first match on August 2, which will start at 8 pm. The second match will take place between Telugu Titans and Bengal Warriors, which will commence at 9 pm just after the first one.
Talking about the debutant Haryana, there journey in the PKL started with a narrow defeat to U Mumba. However, the other debutant Gujarat Fortunegiants kicked off their PKL journey with a surprising victory against Dabang Delhi.
Looking at the performances of both the new entrants, it looks that Gujarat has an edge over Haryana.
In the second match on Day 5, Telugu Titans’ performance will depend on skipper Rahul Chaudhari’s form, whose current form is not up to the mark. But Chaudhari is an unexpected player and may comeback with a bang.
On the other hand, Bengal Warriors’ defender Surjeet Singh and raider Anil Kumar have the capability to turn the match in their favour at any given point of time.
