Star India shuttler PV Sindhu has dedicated her Korea Open Super Series title win to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his “selfless service†to the nation.
PV Sindhu defeated her Japanese opponent Nozomi Okuhara 22-20, 21-11, 21-18 to win her first ever Korea Open Super Series title.
After Sindhu’s victory, PM Modi in his congratulatory tweet appreciated her efforts to make India pride by winning the title. She became the first Indian Badminton player to clinch the Korea Open Super Series tournament.

Replying to Modi’s tweet, Sindhu dedicated her first Korea Open win to the Prime Minister.

Coincidently, Sindhu’s Korea Open win became a perfect birthday gift for PM Modi, who turned 67 on Sunday, September 17.
