Vijender Singh's 31st birthday: Virender Sehwag, Mamata Banerjee and other celebrities flock to Twitter to wish the pro boxer

As India's first professional boxer Vijender Singh enters his 31st year, politicians and celebrities took to twitter to shower wish and luck to the ace athlete. 

Former Indian ace cricketer Virender Sehwag are among the first in the sportsmen category to wish the World Boxing Organisation's (WBO) champion.

Chief Minister of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee happens to be one of the first head of state who took to Twitter to wish the pro boxer to wish him on his birthday.

Boxer Vijender Singh was in the news very recently when he asked Congress Vice President (VP) Rahul Gandhi that he and his wife are very curious to know when the Gandhi scion will tie the knots. 

Rahul Gandhi very candidly replied that he believes in destiny and marriage will happen when it is destined to happen. Rahul also said that sports has a very important role to play in his life and that he holds a black belt in Japanese martial arts Aikido.

None less than the two time Chief Minister of Rajasthan Ashok Gehlot took to twitter to wish the ace middleweight champion.

Vijender Singh is the first Indian boxer to win a broze medal at the Olympics in 2008 and is the current World Boxing Organisation (WBO) Asia Pacific Super Middleweight Champion and WBO Oriental Super Middleweight Champion from Kaluwas, Bhiwani district in Haryana.
