WWE is all set to present the 31st edition of its historic pay per view Royal Rumble on January 28. Fans are eagerly waiting to see who will be the last man standing at the rumble and earn a championship match at Wrestlemania.

This year is very special for the WWE universe as they will witness the first ever ‘Women’s Royal Rumble’ match. Thirty female superstars from both Raw and Smackdown will compete inside the ring to win the match.

Considering there are only 21 active female wrestlers on the roster, one can expect several surprise entries. There are already reports that NXT wrestlers like Peyton Royce, Billie Kay, Kairi Sane will be part of the much-awaited match.

All the fans of WWE Attitude Era out there, we have news for you. There are rumours that seven times WWE women’s champion Trish Stratus may make a return at Royal Rumble.

Trish who was known for her heated rivalry with Lita was inducted into WWE Hall of Fame in 2013. The former WWE hardcore champion wrestled her last match for the company on Wrestlemania 27 where she teamed up with John Morrison and Nicole Snooki.

Trish is all set to make an appearance on the 25th year celebration on WWE’s flagship show RAW.  The Canadian wrestler is bound to get the loudest cheer from the audience in case she returns at Royal Rumble.
