Royal Rumble 2018 proved to be a blockbuster event for wrestling fans across the world. The historic pay per view witnessed the first ever women’s Royal Rumble match.
Japanese sensation Asuka won the 30 women Rumble match to earn herself a title opportunity at Wrestlemania. However, it was the WWE debut of Ronda Rousey which grabbed maximum eyeballs and sent the fans into tizzy.
The former UFC Women's Bantamweight division champion entered the ring after the women’s Rumble match ended. Fans at the arena were thrilled to hear her theme music and chanted for Ronda.
The 31-year-old recently signed an exclusive contract with the company as per an ESPN report and is expected to be one of the high-profile matches at Wrestlemania 34. Recently we told you that Ronda might be part of an intergender tag team match against Triple H and Stephanie McMahon at the 34th edition of WWE’s biggest pay per view.
According to the latest reports Ronda Rousey will partner with Braun Strauman to take on the power couple. Grapevines are buzzing with the rumours that the first choice for Ronda’s partner is Rock but things may change if he is unavailable.
In case Rock is not able to devote time for the match at Wrestlemania, then WWE might switch him with Braun Strauman as per the recent reports.
