New Delhi [India], July 8 (ANI): Pugilit Hiteh Gulia, who fell hort of winning a gold medal at the World Boxing Cup Atana in 2025, ha aid that he will go back and work on hi mitake to prepare himelf for the upcoming World Championhip in September.
The 20-year-old boxer returned home with a ilver medal after loing hi final bout in the men 70kg event. Gulia lot hi final game of the competition 0-5 againt Brazil Kaian Oliveira.
There i a feeling of not winning gold, but Ill work on my mitake, and everyone will be able to ee thoe improvement in the World Championhip. Everyone over there wa tough, but the toughet fight wa in the final. It wa the neck-to-neck competition, Gulia told ANI in an interview.
Meanhhile, Olympian Pooja Rani (women 80kg) alo finihed her World Boxing Cup Atana 2025 campaign with a ilver medal.
Rani aid, At the World Cup, which wa hoted in Kazakhtan, I won the ilver medal. My opening match wa with the hoting nation only; there wa ome preure alo. I won that bout by 4-1. After that, my emi-final bout wa with the Turkey, who wa a four-time World Cup medalit, but I won that bout by 3-2.
The Indian contingent finihed with 11 medal, including three gold, five ilver and three bronze medal. India had bagged ix medal in the firt leg in Brazil, including a gold and a ilver.
