Serbian tennis ace Novak Djokovic advanced to the men's singles finals of the Eastbourne International by defeating Daniil Medvedev 6-4, 6-4 on Friday. Djokovic made it to his third finals in 2017 and is looking in good touch ahead of the Wimbledon Championships later this month.
The top-seeded Djokovic has not dropped a set in three matches at the grass-court event, which he is playing for the first time in a bid to rediscover some form ahead of Wimbledon.The Serb shall next face second-seeded Gael Monfils who beat fellow Frenchmen Richard Gasquet in the second semifinal.
Djokovic won the Qatar Open in January in his first event of 2017 but his only other final since was in Rome, where he lost to Alexander Zverev in straight sets in May.
