Grigor Dimitrov overpowers David Goffin in straight sets to clinch semifinal berth in Australian Open

Grigor Dimitrov defeated Belgium's David Goffin in straight sets to sail into the semifinals of the Australian Open. Dimitrov sealed the quarterfinal clash 6-3, 6-2, 6-4.

The fifteen seeded Bulgarian put up a stupendous performance and dominated the match right from the very start to register an impressive victory over his Belgian opponent.

Dimitrov shall now face the winner of the Nadal-Raonic quarterfinal. Grigor Dimitrov made it to his first ever Australian Open semi-final and becomes the first Bulgarian multiple grand slam semi-finalist.
