Owing to his preparations for the Wimbledon, Ace Tennis star Rafael Nadal has entered the semifinals of the Mexican Open after beating Japan's Yoshihito Nishioka 7-6 (2), 6-3.
With this win, the Spaniard extended his winning streak to 13 matches showcasing his thunderous round of form after getting back from the injury. Defeating the young Japanese in straight sets, Nadal took almost two hours to finish the match. Nadal has been victorious in Mexico in 2005 and 2013.

In the semis, the world number 5 will face Croatia's Marin Cilic. The third-seeded player got a walkover from America's Steve Johnson who withdrew his name owning to a right ankle injury.
