Rafael Nadal clinches 5-set marathon against Grigor Dimitrov, sets up dream final with arch rival Roger Federer

Rafael Nadal defeated Grigor Dimitrov 6-4, 5-7, 7-6, 6-7, 6-4 in the Australian Open Men’s singles semi-finals and will now meet Roger Federer in the grand finale of the tournament.

Rafael Nadal overcame a stiff challenge from Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov and defeated him 6-4, 5-7, 7-6, 6-7, 6-4 in the Australian Open Men’s singles semi-finals played at the Rod Laver arena on Friday.

Nadal will now face his old arch rival Roger Federer in the grand Finale at Melbourne.

Federer had beaten country mate Stan Wawrinka in an epic five-set thriller. 

Nadal who already holds fourteen grand slams singles titles will look to add one more feather to his kitty and surpass American great Pete Sampras.
