Ramkumar Ramanathan defeats Raymond Sarmeinto to win ITF Futures title in Singapore

Indian tennis player Ramkumar Ramanathan outplayed Raymond Sarmiento of the USA in straight sets to win the USD 15,000 ITF men's Futures tennis title.

The top-seeded Indian was clinical in his performance to register a  6-2 6-2 win over the second seeded player from USA in the final of event last night.

It was the first title of the season for Ramkumar and 5th of his career. Ramkumar, a regular in India's Davis Cup team, had recently competed in the qualifying event of the French Open but failed to make it to the main round of the Grand Slam tournament.
