Spaniard Rafael Nadal trounced Russian Andrey Rublev 6-1, 6-2, 6-2 in the quarterfinals at Flushing Meadows on Wednesday. He did it in straight sets to seal berth in semi-final in the US Open 2017.
In another quarter-final encounter No. 3-seeded Roger Federer is locking horns with 24th-seeded Juan Martin del Potro. Winner of this encounter will face Nadal in the semi-final.
