Wimbledon 2017: Andy Murray, Rafael Nadal register clinical wins to progress to third round

Defending champion Andy Murray and French Open champion Rafael Nadal eased into round three of the men' singles event at Wimbledon after securing clinical wins over their opponents on Wednesday at the All England Club.

Defending champion Andy Murray and French Open champion Rafael Nadal eased into round three of the men' singles event at Wimbledon after securing clinical wins over their opponents on Wednesday at the All England Club.

Top seed Murray overpowered flamboyant German Dustin Brown 6-3 6-2 6-2 in a match which witnessed some magical tennis produced by both players. Meanwhile, Nadal didn't break too much of sweat in his straight-set win over American Donald Young 6-4 6-2 7-5.Murray shall next be taking on 28th-seed Italian Fabio Fognini.

Nadal was in full control of the match right from the beginning producing some winners all through the game leaving his American opponent much in awe of his grass court pedigree. Rafael Nadal will next face rising Russian star Karen Khachanov in the third round.
