The legendary Swiss Tennis player Roger Federer on Friday reached the finals of Wimbledon 2017 by defeating Tomas Berdych in the second semi-finals.

In a three-set game, Federer defeated Tomas Berdych 7-6, 7-6, 6-4 to reach his 11th final at Wimbledon.

Simply incredible, the Swiss ace is like old wine, and if he wins the finals, he will become the first man to win 8 singles titles at Wimbledon.

3rd seed Federer will play 7th seed Croatia's Marin Cilic in the men's singles finals on Sunday.

Earlier on Friday, Marin Cilic had defeated Sam Querrey in the first semi-final.

Federer is the runaway leader with 18 singles Grand Slams to his kitty. If he wins the final against Cilic on Sunday, he would take his Grand Slam tally to 19. Nadal is second with 15 titles and Sampras on third with 14 Slams.

Federer won 5 consecutive Wimbledon from 2003 to 2007.He added two more in 2009 and 2012.

Besides winning 7 titles, he ended up as the losing finalist thrice- 2008, 2014 and 2015.
