The WWE Clash Of Champions 2019 saw all the title on the line. While Seth Rollins took on Braun Strowman for the Universal Title, Randy Orton challenged Kofi Kingston for the WWE Championship. 'The Four Horsewomen' of WWE were in action with Bayley facing Charlotte Flair and Sasha Banks challenging Becky Lynch.
WWE Clash of Champions 2019: Title changes
While all of the singles title were defended successfully, two tag division saw new champions. Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman lost their RAW Tag Team titles to Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler in first match of the WWE Clash of Champions 2019 event. The Revival then became SmackDown Live Tag Team Champions after defeating Big E and Xavier Woods of The New Day.
WWE Clash of Champions 2019: Returns
Luke Harper returned to WWE as he helped Rowan defeat Roman Reigns. Dressed in similar attire as Rowan (which likely makes their short run as Bludgeon Brothers a thing of the past), Harper intercepted a Reigns spear attempt on the ramp by emerging out of nowhere to hit a boot to the face. Will Harper and Rowan join forces again as Bludgeon Brothers or join The Fiend for some kind of Wyatt Family 2.0?
WWE Clash of Champions 2019: Biggest highlight of PPV
The highlight of the 2019 WWE Clash of Champions turned out to be The Fiend. After Seth Rollins defeated Braun Strowman to keep the Universal title, Bray Wyatt as The Fiend attacked the champion. The Fiend hit a Sister Abigail followed by the Mandible Claw to destory Rollins. This means Seth Rollins will most likely have a new challenger at WWE Hell in the Cell 2019 pay-per-view.
