The marquee matches saw Roman Reins lock horns against ‘the beast’ Brock Lesnar for the Universal title, while AJ Styles was matched-up with Samoa Joe for the WWE title. The feud between Daniel Bryan and The Miz also continued in a grudge match between both of them. In the women’s division Ronda Rousey was up against Alexa Bliss for the RAW Women’s title.

Here are the complete results of WWE SummerSlam:

  1. Rusev and Lana were defeated by Andrade Almas and Zelina Vega

  7. In another grudge match, The Miz defeated Daniel Bryan as Maryse slipped a pair of brass knuckles to her husband, which was exceptionally used by the Miz to knock Bryan out.
  8. Finn Balor (demon) defeated Constable Corbin in a quick match.
  9. United States Championship Match: Shinsuke Nakamura defended his title as he beat Jeff Hardy after finishing him off with a Kinshasa. Randy Orton made a special appearance after the match, but did nothing.
