Apple is the most powerful brand in tech, a recent report from CoreBrand has revealed.

CoreBrand's analysis, which it the most powerful tech brand, has come out with the list of 100 most elite brands list for 2014.

Apple was ranked in the 10th spot, which was the most highest-ranking tech brand.

It took the No. 10 spot on the overall list, marking a significant growth from 2013 when it was 18th and 2009 when it ranked 93rd.

e-Bay has shot up CoreBrand's list in recent years, gaining 58 spots over the past five years. This year, it ranked 59th out of 100 overall.

Samsung moved up 5 spaces over last year and gained 52nd place out of 100 this year.

IBM's reputation steadily improved and gained 49th-place ranking.

Dell moved down one spot from last year's ranking, coming in at the 48th spot.

AT and T lost four places from 2013, moving down from 29th to 33rd.

Sony ranked at 31.

Yahoo is growing in popularity, gaining 28 spot.

Google has seen incredible improvement since 2008, moving up 90 positions at rank 26 over the past five years.

Microsoft moved 9 spaces to rank 11th.

Apple was the only tech company to rank at top 10 of CoreBrand's rankings this year.

The brand consultancy firm rates companies based on a survey of more than 10,000 business executives. Brand power is measured in terms of familiarity and favorability.
