Google has dedicated British paleontologist Mary Anning a doodle on its homepage to celebrate her 215th birth anniversary.
Mary is known to have uncovered the world's first skeleton of an Ichthyosaur at the age of twelve near her home in Lyme Regis Dorset.
According to the Daily Express, throughout her career Mary had a successful career string of Dinosaur discoveries and is even quoted by some as being the inspiration behind the notorious tongue tister 'she sells sea shells'.
Mary, who also has had three species named in her honour, can be seen uncovering a dinosaur's fossilised remains in Google's doodle .
