Google doodle celebrates Munshi Premchand’s 136th birthday

Google today commemorated the birth anniversary of one of India’s greatest writer Munshi Premchand by dedicating a Google Doodle to him.  July 31, this year marks 136th birthday of great Indian writer and greatest crusader of Hindi Literature Premchand. Godan- author Munshi Premchand has written more than a dozen novels and over 250 short stories.

The brilliant doodle reflects the influence of rural India on Munshi’s work. This doodle is surely a treat to all those who love Hindi literature. People who have grown up reading works of Premchand, this doodle will surely reminisce over the stories like Bade Bhaisaab, Gaban, Poos Ki Raat and many other works of this great writer.
