In its EliteBook lineup, HP India has launched a new line of thin and light notebooks. According to the US-based computer manufacturer, the new line of notebooks will herald "office of the future" as it will fulfil the business and personal requirements of the customers in India.
The HP EliteBook Folio, EliteBook Folio 1040 G3, and EliteBook 840 were launched by HP with starting prices of Rs 1,28,000, Rs 90,000, and Rs 69,000 respectively. Also, the company has launched the Elite x2 1012 2-in-1 laptop-tablet hybrid at a starting price of Rs 95,000.
"At HP, we are pushing the envelope in design, productivity, security and entertainment to build innovative products for 'One Life'," Ketan Patel, Director (personal systems) HP India, said.
The HP EliteBook Folio, which measures 12.4mm and weighs under 1 kg, is claimed to be the thinnest and lightest notebook from HP. The company also claims that the notebook offers better security and manageability features.
Customers can expect the productivity of a full notebook with the convenience of a tablet from the HP Elite x2 1012, which is just 8.1mm thin. Crafted from milled CNC aluminium, the HP Elite x2 1012 weighs less than 840 grams. A built-in kickstand with 150 degrees of adjustability lets users set the tablet upright for viewing and keyboard typing or on-screen typing.
